I. GENERAL TERMS OF PRIVACY

In addition to our Terms of Service, Hoplo S.r.l. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains the types of information Hoplo S.r.l. collects when you use the teriyaki.ai Platform (as defined in the Terms of Service) that is referenced in this Policy, how we collect, use, share, and store such collected information, and also explains the rationale for collecting such information, your privacy rights, and the choices you have regarding your information submitted to us when you use the Services.

For ease of reference, the use of the terms “Hoplo S.r.l.”, “we”, “us”, and/or “our” refers to Hoplo S.r.l., a company incorporated under the laws of Italy, located in Italy and all of its affiliates that are licensed to host the Platform and offer Services. Similarly, the use of the terms “you,” “your,” and/or “User(s)” refers to all users of the Platform (as more particularly defined in our Terms of Service).

The Services are governed by this Policy, the Terms of Service, and any other rules, policies, or guidelines posted on the platform that apply to you. Please read this Policy carefully before accessing our platform and using the Services. By accessing and using the platform and providing your Personal Information (defined below), or otherwise signaling your consent when the option is presented to you, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, sharing and retention of the information described in this Policy, the Terms of Service and any other rules, policies or guidelines posted on the platform applicable to you (collectively referred to as the “Platform Terms”), and Hoplo S.r.l. disclaims any liability arising from such actions. If you unintentionally submitted any Personal Information to Hoplo S.r.l. before reading the statements in this Policy, or if you disagree with the manner in which your Personal Information is collected, stored or used, then you may access, modify and/or delete your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy (see the section on your Choices and Rights).

If any information you have provided or uploaded to the platform violates the Platform Terms, Hoplo S.r.l. may be required to delete that information after notifying you and revoke your access to the platform, if necessary.

II. APPLICABILITY

This Policy applies to all Users of the Platform and to information about Users that has been collected through the Platform.

III. ACCESS

To enable you to access and view the Platform, you must create an account and register on our Platform. To create an account, you must provide certain Personal Information as requested at the time of registration. Hoplo S.r.l. may, in the future, include other optional requests for information from you to help Hoplo S.r.l. customize the Platform to provide you with personalized information. Hoplo S.r.l. may keep records of telephone calls or emails received from you or made by you to make requests, feedback or other purposes in order to provide the Services effectively and efficiently.

IV. USE OF THE PLATFORM/SERVICES BY CHILDREN

As stated in our Terms of Service, the Platform is intended for access and use only by Users (as defined in our Terms of Service).

We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from a child. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with such Personal Information, please contact us at privacy@hoplo.com. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Whenever we refer to a “child” or “children” in this Policy, we mean a child under the age of 18.

V. CONTROLLER

Hoplo S.r.l. is the controller of the Personal Information it collects and processes in connection with the use of the Platform and the provision of the Services on the Platform. The type of Personal Information we collect in connection with such use is detailed below.

VI. PERSONAL INFORMATION

“Personal Information” means data that identifies a User, such as first name, last name, email address, and/or phone number, as well as any other information classified as ‘personal data’ under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and/or other equivalent or similar laws (“Data Protection Laws”), provided at the time of access to the Platform or during registration.

“Sensitive Personal Information” includes (i) passwords and financial data (excluding the last four credit/debit card numbers); (ii) an individual’s physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social data; (iii) data relating to an individual’s health, sex life, or sexual orientation; (iv) data relating to political, philosophical, or religious views; and (v) data relating to union membership.

VII. INFORMATION GATHERING

We collect your Personal Information when you register on our Platform, when you use the Services on the Platform, and when you visit pages on the Platform or pages of certain Hoplo S.r.l. partners. We may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies. When you register, we ask for your name, email address, date of birth, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal information. Once you register with us and use our Services, you are no longer anonymous to us.

VIII. USE OF INFORMATION

We use your Personal Information to fulfill your requests for products and services, to improve our services, to personalize the advertising and content you see, to contact you, to conduct research, and to provide anonymous reports for internal and external customers.
